The principal of hot / cold therapy to treat minor injuries is recommended by doctors. Cold therapy reduces the surface temperature causing the veins to shrink , thus controlling swelling. Heat therapy increases skin temperature, causing vein dilation and increased blood flow, thus aiding the healing process.
How to Use
Medi-Gel Packs can be heated by placing in boiling water, or by heating it in a bowl of water in a microwave oven. Medi-Gel packs can be placed in the freezer to make it cold. For complete directions, see the information at the back of each packaging.

The gel content used in Medi-Gel Hot Cold pack (All purpose, Neck, Eye and Forehead) does not contain Ethylene Glycol. The gel content used in the manufacture of Medi-Gel Hot Col pack contains the following ingredients:
Carbopol, Propylene, Glycol, Glycerin, Ethyl Paraben, Pure water & Edible Pigment.
